We provide support that is tailored to each person’s needs which helps them to overcome their personal challenges, achieve life goals and prepares them for independent living.
We have different types of rooms for customers depending on their needs.
When a customer first arrives at Arlington they are placed in assessment rooms. We work with them at this stage to identify their specific support needs and create a plan to address these needs. Customers are also encouraged to register with our employment and training service.
Some of our customers have mental health problems, addictions or are involved in substance misuse and so need specialist support. Our support team works closely with other organisations to help these customers with their recovery.
We also have high support accommodation for our older customers. We encourage them to get involved in a range of activities which promote healthy, active lifestyles while they live at Arlington.
We have other customers who positively engage with our services and just need a little help with improving their life and work skills to be able to get a job and live on their own. Once a customer is almost at this stage, we have studio flats available where they can stay for up to a year while they build their confidence and look for employment.
All supported housing customers can stay at Arlington for up to two years, with the exception of our elderly customers who can stay for longer due to their need for continuous support. Our supported housing customers are referred to us by Camden Council via their hostel pathway system.
If you or someone you know is homeless in Camden and would like to discuss housing options please contact Camden Council’s Housing Options team on 020 7974 4444.
