About usLaunched in 2010, Arlington is taking a revolutionary approach to tackling homelessness in the UK. Learning from the Times Square model pioneered by Common Ground in New York, Arlington is a stimulating mixed community of high quality accommodation for homeless people, social enterprise, business and low rent accommodation for young professionals or other low income workers. As well as providing a clean and safe place to stay, we take a holistic approach to helping homeless people re-build their lives by providing bespoke support programmes designed to meet the needs of each customer as well as opportunities to learn new skills that will help them find employment and thus break the cycle of homelessness. All of this is housed in an aspirational setting that aims to drive ambition and inspire people to move on to brighter futures and regain their independence. Social exclusion is a common issue among our customers and we tackle it by providing a welcoming environment for residents where residents feel at home and integrating them within the community through a range of services and networks.
